A Ceremony Held  on the Occasion of the 42 Death Anniversary of Uncle Ho

On the morning of August 20 (or July 21 on lunar calendar), Member of the Standing Committee at Dong Nai Party Committee and Head of the Commission for People Mobilization Affairs at Dong Nai Party Committee Bui Ngoc Thanh, a large number of officers, civil servants, and the elderly from families in Bien Hoa city attended the ceremony held in Tran Bien Temple of Literature and burned incense in memory of the Death Anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (July 21, 1969 – July 21, 2011).

Incense burning ceremony at Tran Bien Temple of  Literature

This is one of traditional activities held annually on the death anniversary of Uncle Ho (according to lunar calendar) according to local elders’ wishes to memorize and show gratitude to a great leader who brought the country independence and peace.
