The exhibition attracts a huge number of visitors |
“They Lived That Way” photo collection includes more than 90 sets of photos. Each set has 6 to 10 photos shot by photographer Nguyen A during his travel on all roads throughout Vietnam in a period of two years.
The photos reflect the lives of more than 90 defect people who have attempted to rise up and overcome adversity and to live a useful life.
During exhibition time, many a visitor shed tears for admiring the rising up of the characters in the photos.
Particularly, as one of the activities during exhibition time, eight out of ninety characters in these photos had an exchange with visitors.
These guest characters have shared their getting-through-adversity stories with visitors.
Within the exchange program, Ms. Pham Thi Hue, one out of twenty Asian heroes voted by The Times for her living with AIDS for over 10 years, had an opportunity to meet with and to share her living experience and how protect oneself and community from AIDS with exhibition visitors.
