Nearly 164,000 needy people provided with health insurance cards

Department of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs has selected five districts each of which has two communes with a high rate of poor households to have their health support policies for the poor assessed.

Checks showed that communes have effectively implemented propaganda programs, making a list of those who will be granted health insurance cards.

However, local authorities say that there remain mistakes in poor ethnic minority people’s health insurance cards, taking time to be corrected and causes difficulties for health insurance officers.

Department of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs continues inspection and evaluation in the forthcoming time.
