Voters want their ideas on local issues sent to People’s Council delegates |
At the meeting, voters were pleased and excited to hear Dong Nai and Bien Hoa Municipal People's Council delegates read a brief report on the results of the first meeting of Dong Nai People’s Council (8th term) and Bien Hoa Municipal People’s Coucil (10th term) in 2011-2016 period, on the socio-economic situation in the first half of 2011, and on tasks and solutions in the second half of 2011.
Simultaneously, voters from Thanh Binh and Hoa Binh wards contributed ideas and gave recommendations on the following issues:
- Local flooding occurrences during the rainy season, especially in quarter 3 in Thanh Binh ward.
- The slow implementation of the second phase of Thanh Binh ward.
- Security and order violations in urban areas, and sidewalk occupation cases in many areas that caused a loss of urban landscape.
Also, voters submitted their proposals to Dong Nai and Bien Hoa Municipal People's Council delegates to reflect such issues as having development plans publicized and necessity to better care for workers and laborers’ lives.
