Dong Nai Forestry’s plans say that the province will strive to plant 879.5 hectares of new forests, 335 hectares of post-exploitation forests, and 275.5 hectares of additional forests, to take care of 3,211.67 hectares, to map and cultivate 838.37 hectares, to manage and protect 91,678.21 hectares, to prevent fire hazards on 81,608.83 hectares, and to maintain the forest cover of 29.74 percent in 2011.

Afforestation gets the provincial leadership’s great attention |
It is known that Dong Nai planted
390 hectares of new forests and 280,000 scattered trees, bringing the province’s
planted forest area up to 56,248 hectares, mapped and revived 890 hectares of
forests in 2010.
