The 3rd Sports Contest for Dong Nai-based ethnic minorities in 2011 to be kicked off

The 3rd sports contest for Dong Nai-based ethnic minorities in 2011 held by the Ethnic Minority Committee in collaboration with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Long Khanh People’s Committee officially opened on May 25 at Long Khanh town’s Center for Culture and Sports.

The closing ceremony will be held on May 27 morning

    The competition involved 310 players from 11 delegations representing ethnic minorities living in nine districts and cities (Tan Phu, Thong Nhat, Trang Bom, Cam My, Xuan Loc, Vinh Cuu, Long Thanh, Long Khanh town and Bien Hoa City) and two schools: The Boarding Ethnic Minority School and the Vocational Training College 8. The players would compete in four subjects: seven-people football, men’s volleyball, rod pushing,  men’s and women’s crossbow shooting.

The closing ceremony will be held on the morning of May 27.
