Discussion at the workshop

At the workshop, trainees were equipped with fundamental knowledge on disabled people-related stigma and treatment discrimination in Vietnam and with tools and techniques to organize and manage the activities that help reduce the stigma and treatment discrimination at their workplace and regions.

They were also assisted in making action plans to launch activities to help reduce disabled people-related stigma and treatment discrimination.

In addition, trainees had chances to exchange ideas and share hand-on experience obtained in field trips in order that they could analyze and assess treatment discrimination actions concerning disabled people. After the training session, these trainees will become key staff to participate in propaganda programs and reapporteurs to help raise public awareness against disabled people-related stigma and treatment discrimination.
