345,400 Jobs Created in Four Years

In four years (between 2006 and 2009), across the province, 345,400 jobs have been created, accounting for 130% of the plan. Rate of unemployment falls to 2.7% from 2.9% of 2006, working time in the rural areas increases to 88% from 85% of 2006.

A practice class hour of students in No.8 vocational training school

    In terms of vocational training, nine training establishments has been opened, totaling up to 67 establishments including 25 public and 42 non-public ones, ensuring the tasks of vocational teaching and learning, adequate quantity and gradually improved quality; admitting 222,000 trainees comprising 49,400 ones applying to long-termed training programs.

    Rate of trained laborers in the province gets increased, from 30% in 2006 to 34% in 2009. Teaching staff rises to 1,600 lecturers this year, including 82% of those with university and college degrees, 6.1% with postgraduate degrees and the rest with junior college qualifications.
