Completing rural traffic
With the task of developing agriculture and tourism, Vinh Cuu district has planned to completely develop the transportation system in the district right from the beginning. Up to now, the district has mobilized thousands of billion VND for building transport infrastructure.
According to the Division of Economic and Infrastructure of Vinh Cuu district, the district has 100% of district-managed roads being asphalted and concreted with a total length of over 84km, an increase of 52% compared to 2008. Since the program of constructing new rural areas, hundreds of roads belonging to rural transport systems in the communes have been renewed, upgraded or renovated so far, with a total length of over 250km and over 1.6 trillion in the total funding for these routes for nearly 10 years. In which, budget capital is nearly 950 billion Dong, accounting for 56%; the people's contribuition is over 70 billion, accounting for 4.1% and more than 670 billion is sourced from other funding.
Up to now, transportation projects in the district have been promptly adjusted and supplemented in the plan for basis to implement the next steps to meet the local socio-economic development such as Hieu Liem bridge, Ky Lan road; Ben Xuc road, Vinh Tan - Tan An road, Binh Luc - Tan Trieu road and bridge, road along Tri An lake and investment phase of Road 762.
Developing a critical transportation system
Talking about the development plans of transport infrastructure in the district in the coming time, Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Cuu district Pham Minh Phuoc said, on the basis of the approved projects and preparations to deploy like DT 768 Road from Thu Bien bridge to Vinh An town. DT 767 Road has been completed; in the coming time, the district will continue to coordinate with departments and branches to review and advise the Provincial People's Committee to approve projects such as DT 768B (new route) connecting Binh Hoa commune, Vinh Cuu district with Trang Dai ward, Bien Hoa City).
At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee is requested to promptly adjust the planning to develop some roads. Specifically, the Provincial People's Committee is proposed to create favorable conditions for socio-economic development in the locality, serving the tourism development project of Vinh Cuu district and Dong Nai province. Accordingly, the People's Committee of Vinh Cuu district proposes the Provincial People's Committee to unify investment in upgrading the DT 762 route in the first year of the medium-term public investment plan for the 2021-2025 period. The scale of investment is according to grade-3 road standards, only the section running through Vinh An center is built with the urban trunk road standard, working with Binh Duong province to reach the final agreement for the Bach Dang 2 Bridge project, connecting Vinh Cuu district and Binh Duong province, etc.
According to Mr. Pham Minh Phuoc, the People's Committee of Vinh Cuu district has submitted reports and proposals for additional adjustments of traffic planning. Based on the reports submitted by the People's Committee of Vinh Cuu district, the Department of Transport also coordinates with the local authorities to review, update and supplement the plans and advise the Provincial People's Committee to submit reports to the Provincial People's Council through adjusting Dong Nai province's transportation planning.
Currently, the Department of Transport and Communications is coordinating with localities to complete the report and update the route alignment to advise the Provincial People's Committee to promulgate the Decision of adjusting transport planning in 2020, with a vision to 2030 based on the list of works approved by the Provincial People's Council. In addition, the District People's Committee will continue to review, balance and prioritize the allocation of capital to deploy investment in key transport projects to create a premise to promote local socio-economic development.
