Chairman of Provincial People's Committee conducts a field trip to build Bach Dang Bridge 2

The representative of the Department of Transport is presenting the investment plan to build Bach Dang Bridge 2

In terms of scale, the project includes the main bridge with a length of over 390 meters, a width of 17.5 m and a section leading to the two ends of the bridge. In particular, the section leading to the bridge in Binh Duong province is more than 294 meters long and Dong Nai section is more than 160 meters long. The total invested capital of the project is nearly VND 500 billion. The capital to implement the project is divided according to the proportion that each locality contributes 50% of the funding for the main bridge and each locality invests itself in constructing the guiding section in the area.

Currently, the Management Board of Binh Duong Construction Investment Project has implemented designing construction drawings and cost estimates. It is expected to start construction in the fourth quarter of 2020.

According to the provincial Department of Transport, in the project approved by the People's Committee of Binh Duong Province, the section leading to Dong Nai with a length of more than 160 meters is not long enough to connect to Huong Lo 7 Road. Therefore, the Department of Transport suggests the Provincial People's Committee work with the People's Committee of Binh Duong Province to extend about 100 meters to connect Bach Dang Bridge 2 to Huong Lo 7 Road.

Earlier, after the discussion between the two localities, the People's Committee of Binh Duong Province had a Decision approving the investment project to build Bach Dang Bridge 2 across the Dong Nai river connecting Bach Dang commune, Tan Uyen town, Binh Duong province to Binh Loi commune, Vinh Cuu district.
