​Trang Bom district will reduce a lot of residential land

According to the People's Committee of Trang Bom district, the area of agricultural land in the district is now more than 24,000 hectares. It is estimated that from now to 2030, Trang Bom will reduce about 5.7 thousand hectares of agricultural land to convert to non-agricultural land. The above conversion plan has been updated by the district into the district land use plan for the period 2021-2030 and has been approved by the Provincial People's Committee. The reduction of agricultural land area is to switch to the implementation of works and projects in the fields of technical infrastructure, trade and services, industry, residential land, production and business, etc. land for transport infrastructure increased by more than 2.5 thousand hectares; industrial land increased more than 900ha; commercial and service land increased by more than 600ha; land for entertainment area is nearly 600ha.

The remaining agricultural area of Trang Bom district is mainly planted with perennial and annual crops. The district's rice land area by 2030 as planned will be reduced to more than 700ha.
