Many activities at Techfest Dong Nai 2022

​After the first organization in 2021, Dong Nai Province's Innovation Startup Festival (Techfest Dong Nai) 2022 has been officially put into the overall national innovation startup program by the Ministry of Science and Technology. With many activities from now until the end of October and related events after that, Techfest Dong Nai is expected to continue promoting the startup movement, bringing activities into reality and achieving higher results.

In order to promote the start-up business community, Dong Nai has recently issued many policies and made efforts to connect force and build the province's innovative startup ecosystem.

Series of events

In Dong Nai, the first Techfest held in 2021 has made an important impression, actively contributing to propaganda activities, connecting the local innovation startup ecosystem. Following those achievements, in 2022, the startup festival will continue to be held, promising to become an attractive destination for those interested in innovative start-ups.

At the end of August, the Department of Science and Technology organized the launch of Techfest Dong Nai 2022. The program runs from now until the end of the year with a series of events continuing until December.

At the launching ceremony of Techfest Dong Nai 2022, the seminar "Connecting investment forces, startup Villages to support the development of the innovation startup ecosystem in Dong Nai province" took place; signed a cooperation agreement to develop Dong Nai innovation startup ecosystem with the national innovation startup ecosystem; Signing support for start-up projects. Accordingly, a number of projects won prizes in startup competitions such as "Application of Marketing and Technology to Start a Business in the 4.0 Era"; "Diversification of tea products from Xao Tam Phan raw materials in Dong Nai province"; “Bien Hoa Medic Medical Center" has been connected and signed sponsorship with investors.

In September, there will be a forum "Promoting the development of an innovative startup ecosystem in logistics in Dong Nai province"; Workshop "Metaverse - digital convergence technology" opportunities and challenges.

The major activities of Techfest Dong Nai 2022 will take place in October with the topic "Creative Startups - Converged Resources" opening on the morning of October 24. A week later, there were many follow-up programs such as the forum "Promoting resources to support creative startups in the Southeast; “Developing start-up activities, innovation in agriculture"; talkshow "Digital transformation - opportunities and challenges for young people to innovate"; forums "Sharing women's innovative start-up experiences" and "Launching the Women's Entrepreneurship Programme in 2023"; Workshop on "Solutions to connect start-up products, OCOP products to supermarkets and distribution channels". At the same time, held the launching ceremony of the start-up space of science and technology and Dong Nai Technology University, Dong Nai University; The mentor connnecting festival, angel investors from domestic enterprises with students, organizations and individuals starting a business.

In addition, Techfest Dong Nai 2022 also organizes Technology and Equipment Market (Techmart) to display and introduce startup ideas/projects, equipment and technology, science and technology products/services, and typical products, typical of localities… The fair took place in 6 days (from October 23 to 28) with a scale of about 300 booths.

Connecting startup forces

With the province's determination and strong efforts, over the past time, the connection of resources for startups is actively being done. These include activities of the Provincial Coordinating Council for the innovation startup network of the province. The consolidation of the Council earlier this year brought together most of the elements in the startup ecosystem: departments, branches, incubators, incubators, universities, colleges, research institutes , enterprises, business associations, investors, media agencies...

 Dong Nai also wants to promote and invite investors, businesses, investment funds, business associations to implement many guiding and supporting activities with organizations and startups in the province. Since then, contributing to bringing ideas and projects into reality soon, making practical contributions to the socio-economic development of the locality. In order to achieve better results, Dong Nai province's innovation startup ecosystem wishes to continue to receive support from programs of Central. On its part, Dong Nai will make efforts to connect resources so that startup activities are truly innovative, creating close links with startup activities of the Southeast region and the whole country.
