Expert exchange at the workshop
That is the content of the seminar organized by the Department of Transport in collaboration with the relevant units. The workshop aims to provide information on logistics, listen to suggestions, discuss and present directly by units, logistics enterprises, associations on the practical situation of logistics activities of the province, advantages, difficulties and problems to find ways to dissolve.
Speaking at the opening of the seminar, Mr. Duong Manh Hung, Deputy Director of the Department of Transport said that Dong Nai has formed and developed transport - logistics systems such as ports, ICDs, bonded warehouses, CFS warehouses... The system of logistics service providers in the province has also developed strongly with many enterprises dealing in infrastructure of industrial parks, warehouses, ports, ICD, transportation, forwarders, customs agents..., thereby providing services in a fairly comprehensive way for the development of supply chains for domestic consumption and export imports. Besides, the province is adjacent to the port areas of the city. HCM, Ba Ria - Vung Tau deepwater port, Tan Son Nhat airport, so it is also very convenient for the development of logistics services in the area. Logistics enterprises as well as other support services of Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces can participate in providing their services in the province. Logistics activities also have great potential in the future when Long Thanh International Airport comes into operation and the province has also approved the planning of ICD shallow port system as well as continue to promote the construction of river and sea port system.
At the workshop, the participants also focused on discussing and discussing issues on: Innovative innovation with logistics and supply chain management — “acceleration" needs, potential start-ups, human resource training issues, association activities and practical solutions.
