Many contractors attended the pre-bid conference for the passenger terminal package at Long Thanh Airport

​According to the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), the pre-bidding conference for package No. 5.10 - construction and equipment installation of passenger terminal works under Component 3 project - essential works in the airport, the construction investment project of Long Thanh International Airport phase 1 has just been held and has attracted about 20 contractors to attend.

At the conference, the bid solicitor (ACV) answered many questions, especially the requirements on capacity and experience, technical requirements, contract conditions... Through the conference, the contractors understood. clarify the requirements of the bidding documents to prepare quality bids and ACV has the conditions to select the most qualified contractor, ensuring the implementation of the Bidding Package in accordance with the set objectives.

The bidding package for construction and installation of equipment for the passenger terminal of Long Thanh Airport phase 1 is valued at more than VND 35 thousand billion, with the main content being construction drawing design and construction and equipment installation. The bidding package has an equivalent implementation time of 33 months. The selection of contractors is applied in the form of international open bidding, not online, without pre-qualification, by the one-stage, two-envelope method.

Previously, the bidding package was tendered once in September 2022, but then it had to be canceled because no bidders met the requirements of the bidding documents.
