WEB PORTAL - The Provincial People's Committee has just evaluated the clearance of priority area of 1,810 hectares, under the investment project to build Long Thanh International Airport in priority period. This area covers 630 hectares of land of 1,007 households and individuals, and the rest belongs to Dong Nai Rubber Corporation.
Specifically, up to now, Long Thanh District People's Committee has approved the plan for 268 households with an area of 90.45 hectares/630 hectares. Regarding the remaining area of 539.55 hectares of 738 households and individuals, Long Thanh District People's Committee will complete the approval of compensation plan in August 2020, expected to hand over the site in 2020.
For land of Dong Nai Rubber Corporation, this Company has completed the liquidation of all rubber trees on the total area of 1,798.98 hectares (including the remaining area). The awarded units have conducted a tree cutting with an area of about 170 hectares, expected to complete the tree cutting and handing over in October 2020.
As such, the People's Committee of Dong Nai Province commits to complete the procedure of allocating 1,810 h hectares of priority areas to the Airport Authority in 2020.
