Flexible and effective adaptation to Covid-19

On the morning of October 22, Comrade Nguyen Hong Linh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, chaired a meeting with members of the steering committee and localities. Participants of the meeting were Mr. Ho Thanh Son, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Member of Central Standing Committee, and Mr. Thai Bao, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, etc.

Directing at the briefing, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Linh emphasized that the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic must really adapt safely, flexibly and effectively. It is allowed to live with Covid-19 but must be always control the Covid-19 pandemic and accept no more than 100 cases per day. When F0 appears, it must be isolated in the smallest area and handled as quickly as possible. Comrade Linh emphasized: We must take advantage of the "golden time" as soon as F0 appears, if processing is slow, the number of F0 will have the opportunity to multiply and spread.

Regarding the regulation of scanning QR codes for medical declarations, the Provincial Party Secretary suggested, first of all, state agencies must be serious. After 5 days of preparation, if by today, October 22, any state agencies that do not have medical declaration QR code must strictly handle the responsibility of the directors. For businesses, household business, they must be reminded, if reminded but still do not have QR code for medical declaration, fines will be imposed.

Continuing to emphasize the importance of mobile medical stations in communes and wards, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee directed: “The Department of Health continues to support communes at level 2-3 to set up mobile medical stations to local risk handling. Localities must prepare human resources like "rapid response teams" to handle arising F0 cases. Even communes at level 1 must be proactive, because F0 can still arise.”

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee highly appreciated the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs for coordinating with the Call Center 1022 to process information related to social security in a timely manner. However, it should be noted to speed up the payment of support packages under Resolution 68. If the employees returned to their hometowns, they must receive the financial supports through bank accounts, or authorize another person who trusts enough to receive the supports on their behalf so that they can transfer the money back to their hometown for the beneficiaries. In addition, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee noted that continuing to tremendously apply information technology to disease management, in which, it is necessary to support and guide people to interact with applications on disease management.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested to urgently review and rearrange the isolation areas and field hospitals requisitioned from the education sector and hand it over to schools. For preschools to secondary schools, the locality must be responsible for handling, disinfecting, and repairing carefully, safely if there is any damage. As for high schools and tertiary education, the province is responsible for cleaning and repairing. After the handover, schools must be guaranteed greener, cleaner, and more beautiful than before to welcome the students again.
