Accordingly, testing is not applied to traveling people. Instead, it is applied to people coming from areas with level 4 epidemics or medical isolation (blockade) and suspected or indicated cases for epidemiological investigation coming from areas with high level epidemics at level 3.

For people who have had the full dose of vaccine and who have recovered from Covid-19 disease, testing is only required when there is a request for epidemiological investigation, people applied medical isolation or medical monitoring, and people coming from epidemic areas at level 4 or lockdown areas. The implementation of testing to handle the outbreak depends on the risk factors, the epidemic situation and the extent of the outbreak. Based on that, districts and cities will decide the subjects and testing locations accordingly.

Testing is done according to the risk area and risk group. Test all cases with 1 of the following symptoms: fever, cough, fatigue, sore throat, loss of taste and smell, difficulty in breathing; random and periodic screening tests conducted by health authorities in high-risk, crowded areas such as medical examination and treatment establishments, wholesale markets, bus stations, supermarkets, etc; for risk groups (cases of moving to many places, meeting with many people) such as drivers, motorbike taxi drivers, shippers, etc.

At production and business establishments, business and service establishments, shopping mall, supermarkets, agencies and offices, SARS-CoV-2 tests for people at high-risk will be applied at random.

Cases of screening and periodic tests will be performed by the pooled testing method.
