Dong Nai plans to build Bien Hoa, Long Khanh, Trang Bom, and Nhon Trach into green and modern cities to improve people's living standards. To achieve the above goals, the province has created favorable conditions to increase the attraction of domestic and foreign investment in urban areas.
The province's plan is to mobilize over VND100,000 billion of social investment capital each year, and about VND40-50 thousand billion in particular in urban areas. This capital will be invested in works and projects to help urban areas develop.

Calling for businesses to make investment
Dong Nai is an area where many domestic and foreign investors (FDI) want to pour capital into projects in areas such as technical infrastructure, industry, real estate, trade and service, and tourism. Because the province is the transport center of the region, bordered with Ho Chi Minh City, the land area is large, the population is crowded, the industry is developed. However, in order to mobilize a lot of capital from people and businesses, the licensing and handling of procedures related to land, investment and construction must be performed in the quick manner.
Mr. Chien Chih Ming, General Director of the Council of Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (CTCVN), said: “Dong Nai is a place where many Taiwanese businesses have successfully invested in. Therefore, the province will continue to be the destination of many Taiwanese businesses in the coming years in such fields as industry, trade, service, and real estate. The province should organize investment promotion sessions in Taiwan to introduce potentials, works and projects that are calling for capital for implementation. Businesses that understand the project and the province's investment attraction policy will come to Dong Nai to participate in more projects."
Some enterprises with domestic investment capital and foreign direct investment capital think that, shortening the processing time for documents related to land and construction in urban areas, enterprises will prioritize large capital sources for projects construction, soon completed and put into operation. Fast investment projects will help big cities attract capital to other areas to gradually raise the level of development towards sustainability.
Let's do it together
In the process of sustainable urban development, it requires large human and material resources to implement. Therefore, the state budget capital only plays the role of bait, the rest is mobilized from the people and businesses. For example, the annual state budget investment in projects and works in the province (except for some key national projects) is only nearly VND9,000 billion, accounting for nearly 10% of the total investment capital in the whole province. The remaining over VND90,000 billion invested in works, projects, production and business is mobilized from people and businesses for the implementation.
The big cities of the province need tens of thousands of billion VND to invest in 5 main areas, which are roads; wastewater treatment and drainage systems; public works; social housing; and trade - services. The above fields are invested quickly and soon completed, the main beneficiaries are people in urban areas. Therefore, by mobilizing people and businesses to agree and work together to implement urban construction in the form of socialization, Bien Hoa City, and districts of Long Khanh, Trang Bom and Nhon Trach can complete the goal. Target to become green cities according to the right roadmap.
According to Mr. Ho Van Ha, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, despite the Covid-19 epidemic, in 2021, Dong Nai still mobilizes a total social development investment capital of over VND100 trillion and the plan for 2022 is over VND100 trillion. Right from the beginning of the year, the province reviewed the current regulations on investment, land, and construction that were overlapping and inadequate to propose the Government and ministries to consider, guide the implementation, and create favorable conditions for the implementation, and create the favorable conditions for enterprises and people to develop production and business, and contribute to the construction of urban and rural areas.
Many people believe that, over the past time, Dong Nai has been one of the leading provinces in the country in new rural construction due to the good mobilization of resources from people in the communes. Therefore, in urban development, if the province continues to mobilize people and businesses to join hands and contribute, it will achieve the desired results.
