Export turnover increased sharply

Footwear is the item with the largest export turnover of Dong Nai Province.

In April 2022, the export turnover of enterprises in Dong Nai Province reached more than US$2.4 billion, up nearly 18% compared to the same period last year. Accumulated in the first 4 months of this year, export turnover was more than US$8.7 billion, up 16.3% over the same period in 2021. In which, the state economic sector exported more than US$200 million, increases nearly 13%; non-state economy reached nearly US$2 billion, increased by over 41%; Foreign-invested economy reached over US$6.5 billion, up more than 10%. Export items in the first 4 months of this year increased sharply compared to the same period last year, including coffee, pepper, rubber, textiles, footwear, computers, electronic products and components, machinery and equipment and spare parts, fibers, textile yarns of all kinds, plastic products. Besides, there are also a number of items with a sharp decrease in export turnover compared to the same period in 2021, which are cashew nuts; wooden products.

Currently, Dong Nai is still in the TOP 5 provinces with the largest export turnover in Vietnam. Dong Nai's major export markets are the United States, China, Japan, Korea and European countries.
