Working hard in the spirit of emulation

Mr. Le Trong Thang, a technician at Tokin Electronics Co., Ltd., Bien Hoa City is an "innovative person" that contributes a lot to the development of enterprises. During his work at the company, Mr. Thang always strives to complete the assigned tasks well. In addition to quickly adapting to the job, Mr. Thang also contributes valuable initiatives, research topics and technical improvements that greatly benefit businesses. In particular, the topic of improving the quality of SSHB10HS-series models in order to reduce the rate of NG products in the production of electronic products has benefited enterprises from U$842 per month.

In addition, Mr. Thang participated in improving the product footing mechanism after dipping the solder. Thanks to this initiative, the production process from 5 workers is reduced to 4 workers but still brings very high work efficiency, benefiting enterprises US$3,600 per month. Mr. Thang confided: “I am very excited when my initiative is applied at the factory and highly appreciated by enterprises. In the coming time, I will continue to promote my strengths and skills to make more improvements for the technical department, bringing the company up and developing continuously.

Ms. Vuong Hoang Kim Tram at Pousung Vietnam Co., Ltd. Trang Bom District is a direct production worker who has just been rewarded by the Provincial People's Committee at the Conference of Advanced Examples of Dong Nai Province in 2022. This is a great source of encouragement after the efforts in the work that she has devoted to the enterprise. As a production manager, Ms. Tram actively participates in emulation movements at enterprises. Every year, her creative projects bring a lot of value to businesses and reduce unnecessary steps.

Ms. Tram said that one of the effective technical improvement solutions is to improve the flow of the shoe surface heat press mold. Previously, the company used a mold to heat the shoe surface, each pressing required three stages, a longer pressing time, and more manpower. After improving the mold, one time pressing 6 units and only going through 2 stages, saving enterprises nearly US$23,000 per month. With many outstanding achievements at work, Ms. Tram is always rewarded by the Board of Directors and the Trade Union at year-end performance reviews.

Actively getting the job done

Workers Sung Seo Vu (from Ha Giang Province), working at An Vien Rubber Farm under Dong Nai Rubber Corporation, is an example of the spirit of overcoming difficulties, working diligently and responsibly. In the early days of Dong Nai's career, Mr. Vu still had many surprises and worries about the accommodation and the job security. But with his hard work and diligence, he quickly received the assigned work. Also from his love for the rubber industry, he always exceeds the output target and contributes to the initiative to make a rain cover for rubber trees.

According to Mr. Vu, every day, a lot of rubber latex is lost due to water absorption. Therefore, when making a rain cover, it is designed with crescent-shaped plastic attached to the rubber tree, so it will cover most of the shaved surfaces under the tree and keep the quality latex. In addition to creativity at work, Mr. Vu is also a dynamic and enthusiastic party member and trade union leader who actively participates in production emulation movements and activities at enterprises.

According to the Provincial Federation of Labor, over the past time, the grassroots trade unions of the enterprise sector have cooperated with business owners to well deploy emulation models for good and creative workers. At the same time, proactively propose business owners to organize for employees to study, improve their professional qualifications, technical skills, and apply new technologies to production. Along with that, organize training on techniques, teamwork, equipment maintenance, 5S principle implementation methods to meet production requirements. Through the emulation movement, it has aroused employees' passion for labor and mastery of modern technology. Many employees have worked diligently and rose to the position of team leader, production manager, etc. thanks to their capacity and constant striving.

Mr. Dinh Sy Phuc, Chairman of the Grassroots Trade Union of Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company located in Bien Hoa City said, in the past 2 years, despite the complicated development of the epidemic, the working spirit of the entire company's employees is very responsible. Every month, employees contribute over 2,000 initiatives to help businesses improve working conditions and improve work efficiency. As a result, annual production capacity increases by 10%, electricity and water costs, and materials are reduced, and the annual benefit value is over VND50 billion. Enterprises also reward employees every month from VND3-10 million per person.

Ms. Le Thi Thanh Nguyet, Chairperson of Long Thanh District Confederation of Labor said that from the emulation movement for good labor and creative labor, many initiatives of workers directly in production have contributed to reducing environmental pollution and waste of raw materials. Specifically: the initiative to change the width of steel used to manufacture lids and bottoms of drums at Ak Vina Co., Ltd. saves VND14 million per month; The initiative of workers of Thien Long Co., Ltd on improving the production process, helping to increase productivity, reduce product costs, benefit businesses more than VND2.7 billion, etc.

“Clearly, the applied initiatives of employees bring very high value to enterprises, meeting the requirements of production technology innovation. The initiatives not only help in good disease prevention, but also help businesses ensure the quantity of products in the time they have to produce according to the "3 on-site" option. From there, it shows the important role and great contribution of employees," said Ms. Nguyet.
