By 2030, Dong Nai Province Is Going to Fully Establish 01 Class 1 City, 02 Class 2 Cities, and 01 Class 3 City

​(News Portal – Dong Nai) - According to the decision approving the Urban and Rural System Planning for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050, it is projected that by 2030, Dong Nai province will have 1 first-class city, 2 second-class cities, and 1 third-class city.

According to the plan, the only first-class city in the province will be Bien Hoa City. The two second-class cities will be Long Khanh City and Nhon Trach new urban area. Regarding Nhon Trach new urban area, the provincial-level People's Committee will be responsible for organizing and executing urban development in accordance with regulations on urban planning, classification, and the establishment of administrative urban units.

The third-class city projected to form by 2030 in the province will be Long Thanh urban area. Similar to Nhon Trach new urban area, the People's Committee at the provincial level will be responsible for organizing and executing urban development for Long Thanh, following legal regulations on urban planning, classification, and the establishment of administrative urban units. ​
