Businesses find opportunities during the pandemic

Also choosing technology to start a business is Mr Bui Huu Chi, Director of Chi Thanh Telecommunications Technology Company Limited (Bien Hoa City). In early November 2020, this enterprise launched into the market a solar panel cleaning robot manufactured by the company's technicians. The SolarCleanBot-CT.R1 robot "made in Vietnam" combined with 2 workers can clean 6,000 m2 of solar panels in just 1 day, while currently 6 workers are needed in 5 days. This product, according to Mr Chi, is very suitable for enterprises in the industrial parks that are currently using rooftop solar panels to produce electricity to serve the needs of the plants. In addition to the above-mentioned technology products, the services that Chi Thanh telecommunications provides to factories and enterprises in industrial parks are diverse, from telecommunications, production automation and management software, surveillance cameras, fire alarms, automatic timekeeping, vehicle and cargo control...

Strengthening support for innovative start-ups

Talking about the start-up opportunities of young people today, Mr Dang Van Diem, Chairman of Dong Nai Young Entrepreneurs Association said that each stage, each generation of entrepreneurs has own opportunities. In the present time, it is more favorable that startups will have better access to information and opportunities than previous generations, and at the same time have the ability to create successful businesses with new industries, based on research, science and innovation. Choosing which field, the first thing is that enterprises must build credibility, at the same time find out featured products with high competitiveness based on research from market demand carefully.

As a unit assigned by the Provincial People's Committee to monitor, encourage and support the start-up movement, start-up innovation in the locality, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology Huynh Minh Hau said, Dong Nai is currently step by step building an ecosystem for innovative start-ups. Accordingly, the province has also established a start-up network consulting and coordination council with members who are leaders of departments, branches, organizations, universities and colleges in the province. The Council has the task of building a development strategy for startups, "ecosystem" of innovative start-ups; acting as the focal point for linking and sharing startup resources and building mechanisms and policies to promote the start-up movement in the province.

The Department also continues to implement policies of Dong Nai province on supporting businesses such as financial support to pay salaries for workers; funding for using start-up services in terms of startup training and coaching; marketing and promoting products and services.
