In order to minimize cases of fake professional diplomas or medical practising certificates for practice registration at medical examination and treatment establishments; some establishments using copies of professional diplomas and certificates for medical examination and treatment, and falsifying practitioners' signatures in labor contracts to include in the application for practice registration at medical examination and treatment establishments without consent of the practitioners, the Department of Health has just issued new regulations on registration of medical examination and treatment practice in the province.
The functional force is inspecting papers related to operating
licenses and practising certificate at a private clinic in the province.
Accordingly, the Department of Health recommends that medical examination and treatment establishments, when registering to increase their staffing for doctors, university bachelors and pharmacists who have certificates of specialized testing, require practitioners to be present at the Health Department, present their original professional diplomas, practising certificates, and training certificates to check, compare and confirm their signatures in the labor contract.
Medical examination and treatment establishments are required to ensure that the number of doctors working full-time out of the total number of doctors at their facility is 50% or more when registering an increase or decrease in practitioners. When applying for reduction of a practitioner as the head of a department (for a hospital and medical center), or the person in charge of professional and technical specialties (in a polyclinic), it must be accompanied by registration of a substitute in respective position.
Practitioners who have been granted certificates of medical examination and treatment for 2 years or more shall obtain a certificate of training in updating medical knowledge for at least 48 consecutive lessons in the last 2 consecutive years.
The Department of Health receives application for personnel increase and decrease; examines professional qualifications, medical practising certificates and labor contracts; and returns the approved list of practice registration posted on the Department of Health's website to units and establishments in the Division of operation every Monday afternoon.
