​A price stabilization location to serve Lunar New Year

According to the implementation plan of price stabilization program of some essential goods in 2020-2021 and serving the 2021 Lunar New Year in the province of the Provincial People's Committee, on the occasion of Tan Suu Lunar New Year 2021, the province implements the  price stabilization program for the following items: rice, instant noodles, canned processed foods (from pork, chicken, beef, fish), chicken, pork, poultry eggs, sugar, cooking oil, spices ( monosodium glutamate, seasoning powder), sauce (soy sauce, fish sauce).

Representatives of many market management boards, dealers, and shops registered to participate in the price stabilization program in the province said there were plans to ensure the quantity of goods for Tet, and a plan for stockpiling of essential goods. In general, despite many impacts from unpredictable developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, the supply of Tet products has so far been proactive and guaranteed.

Mr. Nguyen Van Lai, Director of Bao Hoa Trade - Service Cooperative (Xuan Loc district) shared, the cooperative is implementing a plan to prepare stock sources and implement a price stabilization program for the New Year 2021. The cooperative has also received a loan to deploy 5 points of sale for fixed price stabilization at Bao Hoa market and in Suoi Cao commune, along with 19 mobile shipments to stabilize prices to communes: Xuan Tam, Suoi Cao. , Xuan Thanh ...

Similarly, Ms. Bui Thi Thanh Van, the owner of an agent registered to participate in the price stabilization program in Long Khanh City, shared that this year the agent continued to participate in the local price stabilization program with commodities including: sugar, monosodium glutamate, seasoning powder, cooking oil. Currently, reserves for Tet, especially basic essential goods, are guaranteed, expected during peak times, it will increase by about 20% more inventories compared to the same period last year.

According to many representatives of economic departments in districts and cities in the province, the preparation of Tet goods sources has been quite thoughtfully prepared. It is expected that the purchasing power of items such as rice, food and vegetables, tubers, fruits ... in the days before Tet will increase 5-20% compared to normal days.

Mr. Le Minh Tung, an expert from the Department of Economics - Infrastructure, said that the locality has now developed a plan to prepare a source of goods for the upcoming Tet holiday, as well as have plans to coordinate with other sectors. proactively and promptly handle fluctuations and sudden price increases; ensuring the supply of goods at markets, department stores, convenience stores and selling points to stabilize prices ... The local Tet sales volume is expected to increase by 5% over the same period last year.

Department of Industry and Trade has worked with localities, businesses and cooperatives in the province to actively build plans to reserve resources for Tet. According to statistics from the Department of Industry and Trade, as of the end of December 2020, 8 units have been appraised and approved by the People's Committees of districts and cities for loan applications to implement the price stabilization program of some essential items on the Lunar New Year 2021 with a total loan amount of 3.4 billion VND for 16 price-stabilized-goods locations.

In addition, localities in the province have approved for 6 cooperatives to organize mobile sales trips with a total amount of money to support transportation, labor and packaging costs of more than 325 million VND to deploy 132 shipments.

The approved cooperatives include: Hoa Phat Trading and Service Cooperative (Trang Bom district), Phuong Lam Trade and Service Cooperative (Tan Phu District), Suoi Cat Trading Service Cooperative (Tan Loc District), Commercial Service Cooperative of Bao Hoa (Xuan Loc district), Quyet Tien Agricultural Service Cooperative (Cam My district) and Binh Minh Agricultural Service Cooperative (Cam My district). Time to organize mobile shipments from December 21, 2020 to February 7, 2021 (ie from November 8 to December 26 of the lunar calendar).
