Dong Nai Workers’ First Cultural Festival to open

On the evening of October 17, the opening ceremony of Dong Nai Workers’ First Cultural Festival 2009 was held at the Sonadezi College of Technology and Management. The Festival was attended by thousands of workers from the industrial parks in Dong Nai. The comrades: Dao Duy Quat –Editor in Chief of the E-newspaper of the Vietnam Communist Party, Dang Ngoc Tung – President of the Vietnam Labor Federation, Pham Minh Huan – Deputy Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Le Hong Phuong – Deputy Secretary of Dong Nai Standing Party Committee, Vo Van Mot – Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee, Huynh Van Toi – Head of Dong Nai Commission for Popularization and Education and Huynh Thi Nga - Vice chairwoman of Dong Nai People’s Committee attended the ceremony.

    The opening ceremony started with drum beats and a dance performance to reminisce about the birth and strong growth of the Vietnamese Working Class in general and the traditions of Dong Nai workers in particular. The ceremony was followed by music performances and fashion shows by the singers inside and outside the province.
