The meeting between the provincial leaders and the Department of Education and Training
|
The Department of Education and Training’s report showed that over the past years, it had worked perfectly as a counselor, constantly invested in facilities and improved managing and teaching quality to meet the needs of renewal and educational quality improvement in a new context. Dong Nai is a dynamic industrial province but its past education and training hasn’t developed correspondingly. Especially, it has had a lack of teachers and staff and imperfect structures. The facilities in some places haven’t been able to satisfy the practical needs. In addition, its mechanism and policies and guidelines of education and training haven’t been followed closely and timely.
During the period 2009 – 2010, the Department of Education and Training continues to propose four main solutions: accelerating construction and improving the quality of the management team, teachers and staff; enhancing the quality of educating pupils and students to ensure its essence; upgrading the teaching facilities and materials to renew education and training and offering houses to teachers; continuing the renewal of education managing structure.

Teaching methods are continually improved at schools
|
Mr Tran Dinh Thanh, the Secretary of Party Committee stated in the meeting that the results the education and training service has obtained are a motivation for economic and social development. However, for further growth of the education and training to correspond with an industrial province, the responsibility belongs to the whole political system. The education and training service alone needs to focus on helping the team of teachers to improve their professional skills and teaching techniques, promoting socialization and considering it as a breakthrough, effectively applying IT to teaching and devolving management powers.
To do this, the Department of Education and Training has set clear goals in need of priority and proposed optimal solutions in order that Dong Nai’s education service could meet the needs of developing its human resources.
