Rhône-Alpes of France pledges to help Dong Nai with environmental protection and sport development.

Yesterday afternoon June 13, a French delegation led by Mr. Roger Vioud, Chairman of Rhône-Alpes Council for foreign affairs, non-concentrative cooperation and fair trade, visited to Dong Nai in order to discuss about the implementation of some projects within the framework of friendly cooperation between Rhône-Alpes and Dong Nai province. Vo Van Mot, Chairman of the Provincial Peoples’ Committee together with relevant representatives from the local organizations, departments and offices welcomed the visitors warmly.

Vo Van Mot unveiled that Dong Nai hoped to enhance bilateral cooperation based on the friendship between the province and Rhône-Alpes. Accordingly, Dong Nai was willing to create favorable conditions to carry out projects of Rhône-Alpes. Dong Nai had many cooperation projects with Rhône-Alpes such as Sonadezi’s technology and business administration college, to teach French in Nguyen Du Primary School, to twin Cat Tien National Park with Filat National Park, to restore and develop the provincial natural forest heritage, to support devices and equipments to Dong Nai Secondary Technical School and so forth. These projects have been executed in accordance with the schedule and obtained good results step by step by mutual agreement.

Leaders of Rhône - Alpes also hoped to consolidate the friendly relationship with Dong Nai. At the same time, they would continue to conduct researches as to expand their investments in other fields, especially in helping Dong Nai with environmental protection and sport development, added Mr. Vioud. He said that after their visit to Dong Nai, they would report results of the visit to leaders of Rhône - Alpes in order to make out more blueprint plans.

On the occasion of the visit to the Dong Nai, they also visited Dong Nai Secondary Technical School and Sonadezi’s technology and Business Administration College.
