National Assembly delegation exercises a supervision at Dong Nai People’s Committee

On September 11, the National Assembly delegation led by Mr. Truong Van Vo - Deputy Head of Dong Nai’s National Assembly delegation exercised a supervision of how the state budget has been used as interest-free business loans for businesses, organizations and individuals in Dong Nai.

    Mr. Tran Minh Phuc, Vice chairman of Dong Nai People's Committee acknowledged that in the context of economic recession, the solutions put forward by the government such as investment stimulus, consumer stimulus, tax exemption, tax payment extension, monetary policies have produced positive effects, helped businesses through difficulties, handled redundancy and maintained social security. Locally, Dong Nai People’s Committee and Party Committee have provided sectors and unions of all levels with guidance on implementing large-scale solutions to coin the motto “right person, right purpose, right time and efficiency”. In a preliminary evaluation, Phuc said that using the State budget as support loans for businesses, organizations and individuals in the province has produced good results. However, Phuc added that there have remained some obstacles. For example, there has existed a slow disbursement of stimulus packages according to Decision no. 497 and a lot of people in rural areas either have not had an access to information or have obtained inaccurate information, which leads to an incorrect number of loan applications and overlapping problems. Mr. Truong Van Vo makes a speech at the meeting

    Addressing the meeting, Mr. Truong Van Vo said that Dong Nai People’s Committee actively provided guidance and timely proposed solutions to how to use the government’s preferential loans with the motto “right person, right purpose and right thing”. The delegation has noted ideas on how to overcome difficulties in the implementation of demand stimulus policy in Dong Nai province and will submit them to the National Assembly.
