At the anniversary, the delegates listened to the address by Mr Nguyen Phu Cuong – Deputy Secretary of Bien Hoa Party Committee to reminisce about the South people and army’s courage and indomitability during the struggle for independence and especially his emphasis upon Bien Hoa people and army’s contributions to the struggle. Bien Hoa city has made its efforts to deserve the province’s biggest socio-economic center the past 34 years. The city’s economic growth always stands at a high rate and its technological, urban and socio-economic infrastructure has been noticeably improved, which leads to its more beautiful urban landscape... Bien Hoa city is responding positively to the campaign "Study and follow President Ho Chi Minh’s ethical example” and is determined to establish the "clean and strong" Party to accelerate industrialization, modernization and global economic integration and contribute to making Bien Hoa a rich, powerful and civilized city.
On this occasion, Bien Hoa city started a mass emulation movement to increase its internal forces, boost socio-seconomic growth and achieve the targets it set.
The delegates had visited the heroes cemetery and burned incense for the heroic martyrs at the provincial heroes cemetery before they attended the anniversary celebration.
