On the evening of March 25, the provincial Communist Youth Union celebrated the 78th anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union at the provincial square. The anniversary was attended by the comrades: Le Hong Phuong – Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Vo Van Mot – Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, Nguyen Thi Kim Lien – Chairwoman of Fatherland Front Committee, Bui Ngoc Thanh – Head of People Mobilization Work of the provincial Party Committee and Huynh Thi Nga – Vice chairwoman of the provincial People’s Committee. In addition, over 2,000 brilliant members of the Youth Union across the province also attended the anniversary.

After delivering a speech and reminiscing about the Youth Union’s tradition over the past 78 years at the meeting, Comrade Bui Xuan Thong – Secretary of the provincial Communist Youth Union initiated the program “Youth Statue Garden” at Tran Bien Temple of Literature and the movement – “Dong Nai youth show their attachment and gratitude to borders and islands” of all the staff, members and adolescents of the Communist Youth Union across the province.
Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Le Hong Phuong – Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee has commended Dong Nai Communist Youth Union on its achievements. Simultaneously, he demanded that the Union should change its activities – raise the quality of the youth union’s members and basic units – attempt to look after and accompany the youth, get them oriented and assist them in building their life and career – develop the youth’s leading role in the process of developing and constructing the country…
On this occasion, the provincial Communist Youth Union gave Ly Tu Trong Awards to 13 high school students who had excellent academic performances and engaged in the activities of the Union and the youth movement. The musical show, “Songs through months and years”, was organized at the meeting and it attracted young people’s praises.
