In a report by Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in 2011, the estimated total of rice yield in the province is above 331 thousand tons soaring nearly 6 thousand tons compared to the year 2010. Though total rice yield is rising sharply, this year’s rice land in 2011 is dropped by around 1,400 hectares compared to the previous year.
