The import and export value in July, 2009 is estimated at US$1,117 million

The report of Dong Nai Department of Industry and Trade shows that the import and export value in July, 2009 is estimated at US$1,117 million, up 3.25% compared to the previous month. The import and export value in the first seven months of 2009 is estimated at US$6,575 million, equal to 80.9% over the same period, accounting for 35.5% of the plan.

    Particularly, export turnover hits US$535.25 million, up 4.2% compared to the previous month.  Seven months’ value is estimated at US$3,240.4 million, equal to 93.6% over the same period, accounting for 44.97% of the 2009 plan. The province’s export products in the seven months of 2009 are: coffee, 20,520 tons; wooden products, US$14.65 million; garments, US$20.14 million; footwear, US$16.13 million and handicrafts, US$3.47 million. The import value in July, 2009 is estimated US$582.12 million, up 1.6% compared to the previous month. The value in the seven months of 2009 hits US$3,334.84 million, equal to 71.5% over the same period, accounting for 40, 53% of the plan. The main products imported into the province in the seven months of 2009 are: chemicals, US$250,000; medicine, US$2.25 million; tobacco materials US$3.77 million and manufacturing materials, US$22.5 million.
