The first gondola lift system for tourists of Dong Nai province to come into operation

On January 24, Xuan Loc district had an inauguration ceremony putting the gondola lift system taking tourists to the historical relics of Chua Chan mountain into operation.​

The budget for the gondola lift system was completely funded by private sector’s capital which is equivalent to 300 billion dong. The investment owner was Toan Xuan Hung Co., Ltd.

This is the first gondola lift system for tourists in Dong Nai province and the third one in Southeastern region. The system was designed, produced and installed by a company from the Republic Austria, meeting the requirement on safety of the World Gondola Lift Association. The length of the gondola lift is 1,265m, the difference in altitude of the two stations is 254.9m. At the first stage, the gondola lift system of Chua Chan mountain was invested to have 28 cable cars (of which the maximum capacity is 8 adults). At the second stage, it is expected to increase up to 44 cable cars. The whole system has 10 pillar, of which the highest one is approximately 24m high. the diameter of the lifting cable is 45 mm. The average time travelling between the two stations is about 5 minutes, the capacity of the system is 1,500 people/hour.
 
Together with the gondola lift system at Chua Chan mountain, the investment owner also constructed an administrative office area, restaurant chain, ecological lakes and fountains… The construction of this project will create 200 jobs for the local people.

According to Xuan Hung Co., Ltd., the launching price of a two-way ticket is 160 thousand dong/adult and 90 thousand/child. The ticket price for travelling up to the mountain is 90 thousand dong/adult and 50 thousand dong/child, and the price for travelling down the mountain is 70 thousand dong/adult and 40 thousand dong/child. And children under 0.9 m will be free when travelling down the mountain.
