According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; there were about 130,000 visitors to visit the tourist attractions in the province on 2016 Tet holidays; 30% more than the last year one. Remarkably, there were some places that attracted twice as many visitors as on 2015 Tet holidays or the other holidays.
Attraction from new investment
Tourist Areas which attracted a lot of local tourists and tourists from other provinces on 2016 Tet holidays are: Suoi Mo park (Tan Phu district), Chua Chan mountain resort (Xuan Loc district), Buu Long park and Vuon Xoai park (Bien Hoa city). The reason of this great attraction was the billions worth investment for new constructions there
Ms. Lo Thi Hien, Director of Vuon Xoai Ecology Park Co. Ltd (Phuoc Tan, Bien
Hoa) said: “To attract more local tourists and tourists from other provinces to
visit Vuon Xoai Park, by the end of last year, we invested for 2 new
constructions including The Aquarium and The Zoo with variety of exotic wild
animal such as tiger, hippopotamus, elephant, zebra, rhinoceros, antelope… Both
places are free to enter”. Thanks to the two new constructions, visitors came
crowdedly, up to 6000 visitors in some days.

Mr. Pham Chau An, director of Suoi Mo Park Tourism and Investment Co. Ltd said: “On Tet holidays alone, Suoi Mo Park attracted nearly 50,000 visitors, on the 1st and 2nd of Tet, it was overcrowded. In the near future, we will have new constructions to attract more visitors”. Suoi Mo Park has been operating for 1 year and with careful investment, it has attracted a lot of visitor from the province, Ho Chi Minh city and Binh Duong province also.
In accordance to the Department of management of Chua Chan mountain resort, this 2016 Tet holidays, the cable cabin system being ready for service also helped to attract a lot of visitors here. Up until February 15th, there were over 50,000 visitors served, twice as many as last year.
This Tet holidays, Buu Long park also invested on many constructions such as waterfall, stream, flower gardens which made it a flower park and attract a lot of visitor right on the 1st of Tet.
Ticket price remains unchanged despite high increase in visitors
Despite crowded visitors this Tet holidays, most tourism park still remained the ticket price unchanged as they did last year holidays, entertainment and culinary service fee in the parks were also unchanged.
Mr. Nguyen Viet Tien, director of Bo Cap Vang Ecology Park (Nhon Trach district) said: “This Tet holiday, the number of visitors to Bo Cap Vang park was 15% more than last year Tet holiday, but we still remained the ticket price the same as on the other holidays. The other service such as culinary and entertainment place entrance fee were the same as on normal days”. The other Tourism Park such as Da Han Waterfall, Giang Dien Waterfall (Trang Bom district), Mai Waterfall (Dinh Quan district)… only raised their ticket price 10 – 15% more than normal days but still remained the same as the last holidays.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hau, deputy head of Tourism Business Management Department, Ministry of Culture – Sports and Tourism said: “The number of local visitors and visitors from other province came to tourism parks in Dong Nai this year was a record. The reason for this was that the tourism parks had caught the tourists’ demands to continuously invest on new constructions and provide new services, and at the same time, remained the services fee unchanged to satisfy their visitors”
