According to Ministry of Transportation, the Prime Minister agreed with the Dau Giay – Lien Khuong highway 3 phrases project (from Dong Nai ti Lam Dong) which is more than 2000km long, graded A standard and designed driving speed of 80-120km/h.
Phase 1: Dau Giay – Tan Phu to be implemented following BOT form, with the total investment of 9,433 billion VND. Phase 2: Tan Phu – Bao Loc (Lam Dong) with the total investment of 13,821 billion VND. Phase 3: Bao Loc – Lien Khuong with the total investment of 14,383 billion VND.
Phase1: Dau Giay – Tan Phu is planned to start in quarter IV-2016. At the moment, Ministry of Transportation is cooperating with related departments and agencies to speed up getting investment from donors and investors
*According to Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC), after more than one year of the Ben Luc – Long Thanh (Long An, Ho Chi Minh city, Dong Nai) 57.1km highway project is 3,146 billion/5,690 billion VND in short of counterpart fund from the budget for clearing and compensation.
VEC planned to pay 300 billion VND from their managed highway toll fund in advance for clearing and compensation in the locals. Up to now, Asian Development Bank and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) have supplied the project with 1.27 billion/1.6 billion USD.
