On February 16th, Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee held the first Consultative Conference to come to agreement on the composition of National Assembly Delegates term XIV and Provincial People’s Council Delegates term 2016 – 2021. Mr. Tran Van Tu – Provincial Standing Deputy Secretary, Head of Provincial Delegates, Chairman of Provincial People’s Assembly; Mr. Huynh Van Toi – Chairman of Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Huynh Van Hong – Chairman of Provincial Committee of Inspection; Mr. Pham Ngoc Tuan – Deputy Chairman of Provincial People’s Council; Ms. Nguyen Hoa Hiep – Deputy Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee and Chairmen of member organizations of Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee presenting in the event.
The Conference went through the proposal of Provincial Standing People’s Council about the composition of members from agencies, organizations and units to be National Assembly Delegates and Provincial People’s Council Delegates term 2016 – 2021. In specific, there would be 12 National Assembly Delegates term XIV, in which, 5 Delegates to be proposed by the Central, 7 Delegates to be people who are living and working in the province including 1 Provincial Key Leader, 1 mmmmm and Union, Military, Business Delegates. There were total of 20 delegates proposed, in which, 5 Delegates were proposed by the Central and 15 Delegates were proposed by the province.

There were 88/147 Delegates elected to be the Provincial People’s Council Delegates term IX,2016 – 2021.Specifically, 53/147 were female (36%), 15/147 were non-party (< 10%), 147/147 were intellectuals (100%), 2/147 were ethnic minorities (1.36%), 1/147 was Catholic (0.68%). In Sociopolitical structure, there were 6 Delegates working in Party, 12 Delegates are Standing in 3 departments of Provincial People’s Council, 12 Delegates from Fatherland Fronts and Unions; 6 Delegates from vocational associations; 11 Delegates from corporate and co-operative sector; 4 delegates from Justice sector; 4 Delegates from Army sector; 37 Delegates from departments and sectors; 13 Delegates from non-business sectors; 3 delegates from ethnic minority and religious sectors; 36 delegates from district level.
Mr Tran Van Tu to be the Chairman of Provincial Election Commission
In pursuance to the provisions of law of the Socialist Republic and the resolutions of Standing Committee of National Assembly, Mr. Dinh Quoc Thai – Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee signed and implemented the decision to establish the National Assembly Delegates term XIV and Provincial People’s Council Delegates term 2016 – 2021 Election Commission. Accordingly, Provincial Election Committee to have Mr. Tran Van Tu - Provincial Standing Deputy Secretary to be chairman; 4 deputy chairmen are Mr. Pham Ngoc Tuan - Deputy Chairman of Provincial People’s Council; Ms. Nguyen Hoa Hiep - Deputy Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee, Provincial Delegates; Mr. Huynh Van Toi – Standing Delegates, Chairman of Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr Nguyen Van Thuoc – Provincial Delegates, Director of Department of Home Affair. Beside, Provincial Election Committee has 26 Delegates with its head quarter located in Provincial Conference and Events Center (01, Nguyen Ai Quoc st. Tan Phong ward, Bien Hoa city)
On behalf of the chairman of the Conference, Mr Huynh Van Toi - Chairman of Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee stated that the composition of delegates proposed to be National Assembly Delegates, Provincial People’s Assembly Delegates term 2016 – 2021 was pursuant to In pursuance to the provisions of law of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The proposals from Delegates at the Conference (Such as Modifying the Composition of Delegate in non-business and corporative sector to add Agricultural Sector, Science and Technology sector, Co-operative sector, Productive Labor and Farmer Sector) were reasonable that present all socio-political organizations and all strata. After the conference, Secretariat should complete the minutes of meeting to be ready for publishing widely to every citizen about the National Assembly and People’s Assembly Election in all level. When the composition of delegates is agreed by the Central to be official, Fatherland Front shall cooperate with specialized agencies to continue with the Consultative Conference and public among citizens to assure the upcoming National Assembly and Provincial People’s Assembly Election to succeed.

agreement on the composition of delegates for People’s Council in district
level term 2016 – 2021
The second Consultative Conference for the agreement on the preliminary list of National Assembly and Provincial People’s Assembly Delegates to be schedule on the latest possible date of March 18th. The conference shall receive comments and credibility on the delegates from the voters from March 20th to April 12th; the third Consultative Conference to be scheduled on the latest possible date of April 17th 2016.
