On the morning of June 30, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and Quality Assurance and Testing Centre 3 (QUATEST 3) in collaboration with Xuan Loc district People's Committee held a certification ceremony and on-site seminar at the VietGAP trial location in Suoi Lon Mango Cooperative (Xuan Hung commune, Xuan Loc district).

Chairman of the Cooperative's receives VietGAP certificate from QUATEST 3

Suoi Lon Mango Cooperative
established in August 2007 with five members of households has the total mango
growing area of over 15 hectares. The cooperative is given VietGAP certification
from Quality Assurance and Testing Centre 3 for good agricultural practice after one-year trial of VietGAP production
process, with the help of scientists and the efforts of farmers to comply with
strict regulations on the use of plant protection chemicals, fertilization,
irrigation and safety production.
As
known, this is the first agricultural production unit in the province that is
awarded the certificate.
