Dong Nai Power Company: 260 customers attended its 2011 customer conference

On August 24 Morning, Dong Nai Power Company held a customer conference which was attended by \ 260 clients (whose electricity consumption from 1 million kWh per year and more). The conference was chaired bt Phan Thi My Thanh - People's Committee of Dong Nai Province’s Vice Chairperson, Nguyen Thanh Duy - Southern Power Company’s General Director and Nguyen Van Quan - Dong Nai Department of Trade and Industry’s Vice Director


 

Ms. Phan Thi My Thanh - Vice Chairperson of People's Committee of Dong Nai and Nguyen Thanh Duy - General Director of Southern Power Company – gave awards to representatives of enterprises.

 

The conference was organized to review the supply of electricity in the province of Dong Nai in 2010 and six months of 2011 and orientations and tasks in the future. The conference is also an opportunity for Dong Nai Power Company and its customer to have a communication directly, fairly and openly to reach the goal that benefits both parties in a spirit of cooperation and sharing.

Accordingly, in the future, Dong Nai Power Company will promote the construction of lines and substations of 110kV and 22kV as planned to serve the increasing demand for power, to ensure power supply reliability by minimizing power cut or power reduction when repaired or unexpected; provide customer service well ... In return, the customers will continue to support the company by running the generator in emergency, alternately arranging day-offs when the nation experiences power shortage and further strengthening power saving by building long-term plans to bring benefits to both enterprises and society as a whole.

Addressing the conference, Ms. Phan Thi My Thanh noted the efforts made by Dong Nai Power Company to guarantee power supply for the socio-economic development during the past time.

To ensure the supply, she suggested that Dong Nai Power Company should in the coming time to: develop plans and accelerate investment progress rate in power projects for the 2011-2015 period and towards 2020; promote new investment in the grid all over the province; build strategies that provide safe operation of power grids to minimize the frequency and duration of power cuts, avoiding the situation when unexpected power cut occur, leading to negative effects on the production of enterprises; continue to apply information technology to management and service to improve service work while building professional staff and so on

At the conference, 10 companies were praised for having innovative technology solutions contributing to power saving and efficiency in power use.
