According to the provincial People’s Committee, Dong Nai carries out the planning to establish 27 industrial clusters with the total area of 1,500 hectares. These industrial clustered are set up to serve the relocation, arrangement and attraction of local small-to-medium-sized enterprises, manufacturing facilities and business households.
In order to proceed the planning of these industrial clusters, the province has offered proper incentives such as: each locality will receive a capital advance from the provincial Land Fund Development Center to serve the land compensation and clearance, creating a clear land fund for each industrial cluster. Those industrial clusters that have infrastructure investors will receive a support from the province in infrastructure construction with the categories: leveling, internal traffic system, water supply system. If the industrial cluster is smaller than 30 hectares, the total financial support is 15 billion dong/cluster; if it is equal to or bigger than 30 hectares, the support is 20 billion dong/cluster. With the aforementioned incentives, there were 10 enterprises registering to invest in 10 industrial clusters. Currently, there are 4 industrial clusters seeking infrastructure investors.
