According to Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; the 8th Provincial Vocational Skills Contest in Dong Nai province in 2014 attracted the participation of more than 12 units and 78 candidates competing in 10 different subjects. As a result, 62 candidates received the excellent awards for vocational skill.
The organizing committee selected 34 candidates to compete in 17 out of 22 subjects at the national vocational skills contest. As a result, Dong Nai delegation attained 25 awards and ranked sixth of all delegations. Particularly, four candidates of Dong Nai delegation have been chosen to attend ASEAN Vocational Skills Competition which is going to be organized in October, 2014 in Hanoi.
Through vocational skills contests at different levels, training quality of vocational schools is significantly improved. The contingents of lectures and experts have broadened their experience of providing suitable training for labor market demand
