Two Hundred of Red Cross Staffs in Bien Hoa City Attend Training Course on Humanitarian Blood Donation

On May 28, 2009 morning, Dong Nai Red Cross in collaboration with the Regional Blood Transfusion Center of Cho Ray Hospital held a training workshop on humanitarian blood donation for Red Cross staffs from 26 wards and 13 schools across Bien Hoa city.

    Attending the course, the staffs were offered with knowledge of blood and voluntary blood donation in four fundamental contents: methods of blood demand estimation, humanitarian significance of voluntary blood donation, community role in voluntary blood donation, and essential requirements for a successful program of voluntary blood donation.

    In order to make the lectures more interesting and closer to practice, lecturer, doctor To Phuoc Hai showed the participants certain documentaries on daily first-aid performance in Cho Hospital.

    As known, it is for the first time Dong Nai Red Cross held such a kind of workshop for its staffs.
