| Handling gifts to a poor household at Bien Hoa Red Cross |
As planned, the Association will raise at least 300 gifts to support some difficult communes and wards (the gifts are worth VND300,000-400,000 each), and each Red Cross chapters of communes, wards and high schools must sponsor 50 gift and above. The Association has also joined hands with mass media agencies to well conduct the propaganda task of the campaign “Tet holiday for the poor and AO victims”. As expected, the gifts for the poor and AO victims on occasion of the Lunar New Year 2011 will be directly handled to the poor families from January 21-30, 2011.
