Plenty of Activities Launched during the Youth Month

On March 23, the Provincial Communist Youth Union in cooperation with Dong Nai Telecommunications held an exam consultancy program themed “Along with your decision on future” at Thong Nhat B high-school (Thong Nhat District). At the consultancy session, besides job consultancy, students were given chance to get to know about health and psychology. As planned, the program will be held in other 20 schools across the province until April 6.

Members of Youth Union at Dong Nai Art Collage take part in blood donation

• Nhon Trach District Youth Union in collaboration with Dong Nai delegation of doctors and physicians examined health and issued medicines to 156 poor people in Phuoc Khanh commune. By the way, 100 gifts worth VND10 million (US$569) by sponsors were granted to poor families in the commune.

• Between March 14 and 15, Traditional Culture Resort of Nam Cat Tien, Steering Committee of Communist Youth Union of People, Government and Party group held a camp festival themed “Prominent Youth following Uncle Ho’s Teaching” in 2009. At the camp festival, 22 youths with notable achievements in the mobilization entitled “Dong Nai Youths Learn and Follow Uncle Ho’s Teaching” were praised.

• On March 17, at Dong Nai College of Art and Design, the school’s Youth Union in cooperation with Blood Transfusion Center of Cho Ray Hospital held blood donation and received 114 units of blood from donors.

• On March 24 evening, at the Cultural House of Nui Tuong Commune, Tan Phu District held a performance themed “Immortal Youth Songs”.
