Addressing the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee Ao Van Thinh expressed his thanks for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ great interest and assistance towards Dong Nai by helping the province offer a foreign affairs knowledge refresher course to major leaders of the province.

Simultaneously, Thinh reported briefly on the province’s recent-year socio-economic achievements.

With ongoing efforts, Dong Nai has obtained great achievements and results in recent years in various fields. And economic integration and foreign affairs have played an indispensable role.

During the course, students will hear Deputy Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung, Director in charge of Diplomatic Affairs for Economic Development, Head of Department for Economics Vu Xuan Truong, and presenters from Ministry of Foreign Affairs and from Dong Nai talk about some subjects as follows:

- International situation and foreign policies of the Party, and the State to full grasp the resolution on foreign affairs by the 11th National Party Congress.

- Diplomatic affairs to serve economic development and foreign affairs.

- Culture in foreign affairs communications and the results of foreign affairs activities in Dong Nai; in 2010 and directions and tasks in 2011.

It is known that April 4 through 5, Ministry of Foreign Affairs cooperated with Dong Nai People’s Committee in offering a foreign affairs knowledge refresher course to 103 comrades.
