More Than 71,000 Laborers Get Jobs in Nine Months

Department of Labor, War Invalid and Social Affairs said in the first nine months, 71,260 people found their jobs across the province, making up 83.8%, down 0.96% compared with the same period.

Trainees in the vocational class hour

    In particular, 70,460 labors were offered jobs via the program of socioeconomic development (including 39,706 were hired in firms and 30,934 others got employed via combined programs); 600 were loaned to do business and 20 were sent abroad to work.

    Due to a drop in order-forms and exports, 58 enterprises have cut workforce since earlier this year with 8,112 dismissed laborers. However, 7,630 got new jobs, accounting for 94%.

    In the field of vocational training, 28,418 trainees have been admitted, occupying 9.8% compare with the same period, in which 468 ethnic students, 311 ex-soldiers, 150 disabled people and 4,596 rural laborers have been admitted to attend long-termed training courses.
