Buffalo-stabbing ritual at “Welcome the New rice” Festival

Reportedly, the festival this year was hosted by Ma ethnic people, so the team of drums and gongs played by Ma people had to welcome the team of drums and gongs by S'tieng people before the festival officially started. The festival solemnly took place with full of sacrifices, in which the buffalo-stabbing ritual was held in the traditional manner.

After the ritual worship was finished, the festive entertainment began including folk games, traditional music performances, chatting and exchanging news of production among teams of drums and gongs in Bon Go (Thanh Son commune) and La U (Phu Binh commune).
