In the performance, the organizing board collected VND2.5 billion (US$154,799) for fund for the poor from 140 units including organizations, individuals and enterprises across the province. By the way, many poor individuals and poor households were given chance to present themselves in front of the large audiences, comprising Pham Ngoc Lan Huong in Hiep Hoa commune, Bien Hoa city and Dao Dinh Trung’s household in Dong Xuan commune, Vinh Cuu district.
The performance attracted a lot of well-known singers and music groups such as Van Khanh, Quang Linh, Sy Luan, May Trang, Go-on, ect.
As known, there are currently 27,000 poor households making up 6.15% of the province’s total population. By means of the performance, the organizing board expects community’s sharing could enable each of the poor to have a firm life and every child to achieve its equal education.
