At the conference, Professor Dr. Truong Giang Long presented such contents as: some international issue highlights in 2010, the socio-economic overview in 2010; results of the 14th meeting of the Central Committee, (the 10th tenure) and dissemination strategies in the upcoming time. Accordingly, The national average GDP reached 6.8% in the context of the global economic downturn, which showed the maturity in the Government’s management and administration. Besides, foreign investment attraction increased up to over 7.9 billion dollars; many export targets gained their turnover of over $1 billion; more than 1 million people were helped employed; political security and social safety and order were kept maintained. All of these results made a great contribution to the Party and the Nation in 2011 with new potential prospects. Particularly, a great focus will be given to all preparations for the 11th National Party Congress, which is taking place in late January 2011 so the Congress is what dissemination needs aiming at in the coming time.
