Electric motorbikes have to be registered starting on September 20, like normal motorbikes.

    For Electric motorbikes of foreign organizations and individuals, venture organizations and projects located in Dong Nai can get registration and license plates in the provincial bureau of traffic police; and others can register in districts and Long Khanh town and Bien Hoa city. The procedures of registration and sealing plate resemble the normal ones’: people get free registration forms from districts’ registration points, then fill in them. After that, they are asked to show their ID cards along with relevant papers, such as receipt, registration cost statement, factory quality check slip, and then pay registration fee. However, for too young owners without ID card, they can use student ID card and family record book in stead.
