Dong Nai: A Number of Specific Activities in Response to Earth Hour 2010

    To respond to this campaign, the Provincial People’s Committee has sent directives to State organs and units, and the People’s Committee of the districts, Long Khanh town and Bien Hoa city to popularize and encourage officials, employees and civil servants to take part in Earth Hour 2010 campaign by turning off electricity light, dropping power use during one hour of the campaign and ask the unit operating public lighting system to make proper cut to roadway lighting and ensure traffic safety and persuade people to get involved.

    Dong Nai plans to respond to Earth Hour 2010 by switching off lights on its logo, in public places, zones of amusement and entertainment; the Provincial Youth Union will burn candles and hold other activities in response to the campaign.
